On 12 October 2017 United Grab Hire Ltd pleaded guilty to breaching Sections 4 (1) and 17 (1) �of the Workplace (Health and Safety Welfare) Regulations 1992 and was fined �500,000. The company director pleaded guilty to breaching Section 37 of the Health and Safety at Work etc Act 1974 and was sentenced to a six months' imprisonment suspended for two years, and ordered to carry out 200 hours of unpaid community service both at Brighton Magistrates? Court.
