Scaffolding company fined �80,000 and company director given suspended sentence following conviction for health and safety breaches (Magistrates' court)

On 6 October 2017, Boundary Scaffolding Limited pleaded guilty to breaching regulation 2(1) of the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 and was fined �80,000. The company director pleaded guilty to breaching regulation 2(1) and section 3 of the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 and was ordered to serve six months' imprisonment suspended for 12 months, both at Swindon Magistrates' Court.
