The House of Commons has published a briefing paper on recent developments around the Modern Slavery Act 2015 (MSA) on 25 October 2017. It demonstrated that while response to the MSA has been largely positive, it is clear more ought to be done to ensure better support for victims, better co-ordination between law enforcement and tougher requirements on supply chain transparency for companies.
